Draw & Code
Mocap, volumetric capture, virtual production and hardware R&D with Liverpool's immersive specialists.
That meant experiences and innovations using motion capture, tracking, virtual production, projection mapping, prototype development and technical art, mainly in Unreal Engine and Unity, with systems and pipelines built around them.
Projects included exploring the future of immersive live music with KOKO, Unity and Dolby Atmos at SXSW; hardware and pipeline support for a multimillion-pound mixed reality location-based experience with Entain; motion capture pipelines for games projects with Avalon and commercial work such as Taskmaster VR; and R&D on Fanport, a new immersive fan-experience product.
Through the studio I was also part of Virtual Production Futures, the intensive accelerator run by Industrial Light & Magic, the National Film and Television School and Epic Games.
